Being a Monat VIP is being my priority customer. I have a consultation with you asking about your hair and scalp type. Then make it simple by building you a cart with the best products for your hair. This cart will include a $19.99 one time membership fee. This fee is for life! As a VIP you also get 15% off all of the products.
You will also see an Only For You Product in your cart, this is a free product for you! Every month the OFY products change so every order you’ll get something new to try!
Another thing you will see is a flexship order, this is meant to be flexible (hence the name). When I build you a cart I will push your flexship out as far as I can, typically 60 days. I usually recommend that if you haven’t yet ordered our rejuvanique oil, now is the time to get that! It is a patented oil that can be used 101 different ways! A flexship is not an auto ship, it is not scary, and we can push it back in 3 month increments indefinitely! You just need to have 3 orders total in your time as a VIP…easy! Once it comes time for that flexship to ship, you and I will be notified. This is not an auto ship, they will let you know days before it is taken out of your account and shipped. At that time we can discuss whether you want to move forward with the flexship or push it back! This flexship is basically set up as a reminder saying “ hey, its been a few months since you ordered, how are you doing on products? Do you want to try some new ones or need more shampoo?”
Monat is different for many reasons but one is how you wash your hair with the products. Washing twice may seem redundant and time consuming but once you get the hang of it, its a piece of cake and doesn’t feel like extra work at all. Training yourself to take only a dime to quarter sized amount may take some time to get used to but trust me thats all you need! The first shampoo wash will not be sudsy, I know it sounds crazy but trust me! This wash is not to clean your hair, the shampoo is actually going to stick to any oily build up on your scalp and strands and remove them when you rinse. The second wash is when you will see the sudsy texture we are used to in a shampoo (if you do not have sudse at this wash, wash again, this means your hair has a lot of environmental build up or wax on it). Once you wash the second time make sure you rinse really really well, getting out all the bubbles and shampoo before you start your conditioner. Take a pea sized amount of conditioner and run it through the bottom half of your hair, try not to use the conditioner in your scalp. The conditioner is meant to target and nourish your ends. Rinse well and voila! Your on your way to amazing hair!
